The legend of Tokamotu of tuapa

 The Tokamotu is a stick that gave good luck and curses, first im gonna be talking about the good luck. When the Tokamotu is warm it would give the holders/villagers good luck. But if you remove or steal it from the place it was at, it will put a big curse on you and you will suffer. 


I think the Tokamotu is significant to these tribes prior to the “power” and good luck it will give them.


I think that the curse lineage of the hakapu brothers is because they were the ones that tried to steal the Tokamotu.

  2. Who is Niue’s monarch and why? Niue’s monarch is Queen elizabeth ll prior to her being New zealand's monarch she is Niue’s monarch because Niue basically represent New zealand 

  3. How big is Niue and what is its population (according to the video)? According to the video Nuie is 260 square Kms and its population is 1200

  4. Where do most Niueans live? 95% of the niuean population live in New zealand

  5. Who was the first European to discover Niue and in what year? The first European to discover Niue was James cook he sighted Niue at the year 1774

  6. What nickname was given to the island and what was the reason behind it?  The nickname given to Nuie was Savage islands reason being is because they did not let james cook land, and the Nuieans appeared to have blood painted on them

  7. Niue island is made of a natural resource called? Niue’s natural resource is Coral
